FAME Week Africa is proud to partner with Sisters Working in Film and Television (SWIFT) in a collaboration that strengthens opportunity, visibility and representation for women across the screen industries.

FAME Week Africa is proud to partner with Sisters Working in Film and Television (SWIFT) in a collaboration that strengthens opportunity, visibility and representation for women across the screen industries.

This partnership reflects a shared commitment to building a more inclusive and sustainable creative ecosystem, where women are not only present, but influential in shaping the future of African storytelling.

Taking place from 28 October to 1 November 2026 at CTICC 2 in Cape Town, South Africa, FAME Week Africa is the continent’s leading creative industries marketplace. Bringing together film, television, animation, music, fashion and digital content, it serves as a powerful platform for connection, collaboration, and business development. At its core, FAME Week Africa is designed to unlock access by connecting creatives with commissioners, producers, investors, distributors and global partners.

Through this partnership, SWIFT members gain direct access to a dynamic multi-sector environment where conversations translate into real opportunities. FAME Week Africa provides spaces for industry engagement, thought leadership, networking and deal making, ensuring that women working in film and television can expand their professional networks, showcase their work, and participate meaningfully in shaping the industry’s direction.

By aligning with FAME Week Africa, SWIFT strengthens its mission to champion long-term career sustainability for women in the sector. Together, the partnership reinforces a shared vision of an African creative economy that is representative, equitable and driven by diverse voices.

SWIFT members are encouraged to be part of this powerful convergence of creativity, commerce, and community in Cape Town this October.
